Hours of operation will be from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily and we’ll provide information, restaurant reservations, rental car assistance and schedule private excursions. We’ll be turning the Hilton Tapa Tower into an Elvis paradise so, as you arrive and begin to unwind, Andy Childs will be live on the Tapa Stage. Welcome Breakfast
Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon
, Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort
You won’t want to sleep in on your first full day on the island so we’ll have a tropical breakfast on the Great Lawn of the Hilton Hawaiian Village featuring breath-taking views of the recently rejuvenated Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. Elvis fans will also get the opportunity to meet former "Girls!Girls!Girls!" co-star and internationally renowned pianist, Ginny Tiu.

We want to provide plenty of opportunity for you to relax and enjoy the Hilton resort so after breakfast you can shop, take a morning walk along the beach, or go for a swim at the pool next to the outdoor Tapa Stage where Jamie Aaron Kelley will fill the air with the sounds of Elvis music.

Tour of Elvis' Hawaii
How about a Hawaiian road trip? You’ll board a luxurious motor coach and visit the sights and sounds of Elvis’ Hawaii! And to make it even more unique, the team from the Graceland archives have created a special video and audio presentation that features rarely-seen home movie footage of Elvis himself touring the island! Your tour guide will also be on hand to point out the sites and share information. Your first stop is world-renowned Waikiki Beach next to Le‘ahi or Diamond Head, the mountain featured prominently as the backdrop of “Blue Hawaii.” Your next stop will be a visit to Hanauma Bay, where a good portion of the beach scenes were filmed for “Blue Hawaii.” Get your camera ready because although the shack where Chad and Maile changed into their swimsuits is long gone, the beach at Hanauma Bay remains just as breathtaking with its white sand and turquoise waters. Elvis also returned there in August of 1965 to film the helicopter rescue scene with Donna Butterworth for the movie “Paradise Hawaiian Style.” Also included will be locations from “Girls, Girls!, Girls!” We’ll continue along the eastern coastline with a stop by the “Blow Hole” to view a spectacular seawater eruption from a natural saltwater geyser and then on to the famous Sandy and Makapuu Beaches that are known for their excellent body surfing. You’ll then proceed through the historic Waimanalo community and continue a little further up the east coast to Lanikai Beach where Elvis rented a private home during his last Hawaiian vacation in March of 1977. As we wind our way to Central Oahu, you’ll visit Punchbowl Crater and the National Memorial of the Pacific. You’ll discover a world of contrast as you tour Honolulu’s bustling Downtown area and historic Chinatown right next door. Our final stop before returning to the hotel is at Hilo Hattie where you will be able to view the “exclusive” Elvis section and enjoy an Elvis-themed shopping excursion like nothing you have ever experienced before. We have some very special surprises in store for you there.

Free Time on Friday Night
After you return to the Hilton there is plenty to do Friday night. You can enjoy a free Elvis Hawaii movie screening, an evening walk along the beach or visit Kalakaua Avenue and check out the local attractions like Teddy Bear World or Hard Rock Cafe. The Royal Hawaiian Center is conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki. Everything mentioned plus lots more is located within walking distance of the Hilton or cabs are available at the hotel.

Legends in Concert Waikiki is also presenting a spectacular tribute to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and other legendary entertainers at the Royal Hawaiian Theater on Friday, January 11 and Sunday, January 13, 2013, at 8:00 p.m. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.

Saturday, January 12, 2013

Saturday is going to be a day full of unique and interesting people and places connected to Elvis and his love of Hawaii.

Conversations on Elvis - Hawaiian Style
Legends Theater
First, you’ll take a quick drive to the Royal Hawaiian Center where you’ll take your seat at the newly renovated Royal Hawaiian Theater for a very special “Conversations on Elvis – Hawaiian Style.” Hosted by Elvis fan favorite Joey Sulipeck, special guests currently scheduled include: celebrated Hawaiian DJ who brought Elvis to Hawaii, Tom Moffatt; Jerry Hopkins, author of “Elvis in Hawaii”; Jan Shepard, Elvis’ co-star in “King Creole” and “Paradise, Hawaiian Style”; and former members of the group J. D. Sumner and The Stamps Quartet who sang back up for Elvis in the 1970s and were part of Elvis’ “Aloha from Hawaii” concert.

Tour the USS Arizona Memorial
After you return to the Hilton for a short break, you’ll board one of the luxury motor coaches for a journey to the USS Arizona Memorial located at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu. As a special treat, your ride will include a Elvisunique video presentation about Elvis and the USS Arizona created just for you by the archivists at Graceland. The visit to the USS Arizona Memorial will be a moving experience. The USS Arizona Memorial marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors killed on the USS Arizona during the attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and commemorates the events of that day. In 1949, one of the goals of the Pacific War Memorial Commission was the building a memorial in the waters above the wreckage of the USS Arizona.  Years later, Colonel Tom Parker, working with Tom Moffat, coordinated an Elvis concert as a benefit for the project. Elvis' benefit would raise nearly $65,000 for the memorial building fund. All proceeds went directly to the project, without anything held for expenses. Even Elvis and Colonel Parker purchased a ticket for the concert! To Elvis it was always a source of quiet satisfaction and pride to know that he had a significant role in making the memorial possible. In addition to touring the memorial, you’ll find the two new state-of-the-art exhibit galleries "Road to War" and "Attack" something you won’t want to miss. These galleries display personal memorabilia, dramatic photographs, artifacts of the battle and other exhibits. There will be lots of surprises and special happenings during this visit.

Free Time on Saturday Night
You will have free time on Saturday night after touring the USS Arizona. If you are looking for a great show that evening, the first-ever Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest preliminary round in Hawaii will take place that evening at 8:00 p.m.  This event will be hosted by Legends in Concert Waikiki and will take place at the recently-renovated Royal Hawaiian Theater located at The Royal Hawaiian Center, just a few blocks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.
*Please note: tickets to the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest must be purchased separately and are not included in the package.

It will be a magical morning Elvis fans will be talking about for years to come.
