Gloves worn for conservation purposes.

Gloves are worn as a conservators method to preserve items that have historical value. Human's sweat acid from their bodies for one thing, along with other contaminates and dirt. Over time repeated contact with these items by hand would erode, decay and destroy them.

great tree. so why did everyone wear gloves? its not like Elvis' finger prints are on them any more he has been done touching that stuff for 35yrs now. wished it was Elvis decoration the tree
