Why are the’68 and Aloha sets released only on DVD and not VHS?

BMG, our distribution partner, has opted to start off with DVD only, as the VHS market worldwide is nearing extinction. (It’s virtually a sin to watch this glorious material on VHS anyway!) Still, BMG and EPE are discussing possible means of addressing the demand that will continue for Elvis on VHS.
