What about press conferences, backstage material and other related footage?

There is no known footage of Elvis’s press conference related to the ’68 TV special. Footage of his two press conferences related to the Aloha special exists, but we do not own this material. With the monumental task of bringing to DVD a proper comprehensive collection of the footage shot for the TV specials themselves, the idea of seeking use ancillary footage as DVD extras was set aside, along with the idea of creating a “making of” chapter about each TV special. Many ask if there was any shooting backstage or behind the scenes. If we had such footage, it would be on the DVD sets because our goal, which we have met, was to be comprehensive in our presentation of the material shot by the production team for both specials.
