On July 5, 1954, at Sun Studio in Memphis, nineteen-year-old Elvis Presley recorded his first single release, That's All Right. Thus, 2004 marks the 50th annviversary of Elvis Presley's career. It also marks the 50th anniversary of the start of a musical and cultural revolution Elvis played a major role in. All year, Graceland/EPE is celebrating 50 Years of Elvis and we join the City of Memphis in its year-long, global commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Rock & Roll.
