Fan Club Presidents’ Event

10:00 a.m. Elvis Week Main Stage Entertainment Pavilion, Graceland
Details: Elvis fans are invited to celebrate the
work of Elvis Presley fan clubs during this special event. In addition
to celebrating and recognizing the work of fan clubs, the event will
feature a program of EPE company updates and special announcements,
including the latest from EPE media, marketing, licensing, merchandise,
archives and more. The event also will feature a special guest segment
with those who worked with Elvis. Confirmed special guests for the event
will be TCB Band members James Burton and Glen Hardin, plus Elvis’ musical director and conductor from 1970 – 1977 - Joe Guercio. For the August event, the special spotlight charity will be Pacific Historic Parks, who is currently is working on restoration efforts for the USS Arizona
Memorial. In March 1961, Elvis held a benefit concert at Bloch Arena in
Hawaii and raised more than $64,000 towards the building of the
memorial. We ask that all fan club
presidents and attendees to the event bring at least a $5.00 donation to
go towards Pacific Historic Parks’ USS Arizona Restoration efforts. The donation will be collected at the door of the event. Fan
club presidents will get an invite and registration form directly from
EPE to attend the event for free. Tickets for other fan club members and
the general public are $15. Starting
August 9, tickets available for purchase will be located at Graceland
Guest Services. Tickets may also be purchased at the door 30 minutes
prior to the start, pending availability.
