The Elvis Presley Fan Club of Oklahoma Presents 13th Annual Themed Silent Auction and Dance

June 30th, 2012 Brickstreet Cafe, Okemah Oklahoma
Details: You are invited to attend our 13th annual themed silent auction and dance on June 30, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., in Okemah Oklahoma. Located at the Brickstreet cafe Basement, Oklahoma City DJ Ronnie Kaye will have his dance mobile in full swing playing lots of Elvis tunes! The silent auction will be going on throughout the event and has gained popularity in the past years as it is a large assortment of licensed Elvis products. The event theme will be Blue Hawaii and will feature some of the new Elvis Blue Hawaii line from Shindigz.com. The event benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Admission is $8 adults, Children 3 and under are no charge. (an optional buffet will be available for an additional charge)

Elvis is in the Building Photography Exhibition

Brooks Museum of Art, 1934 Poplar Avenue.
Details: Elvis is in the Building, a photography exhibition curated by Marina Pacini, Chief Curator and Curator of American, Modern, and Contemporary Art, will be on view at the Brooks from June 23 through October 31. Consisting of early, yet iconic photographs of Elvis Presley, the exhibition includes an Ernest Withers photograph of Elvis and B.B. King at the 1957 WDIA Goodwill Revue and a 1956 image of Elvis on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle by Alfred Wertheimer.
