Elvis: Viva Las Vegas DVD Launch Party During Music & Moives

  Night 1 of Music and Movies on August 11^th will feature a celebration of the launch of Elvis: Viva Las Vegas,  a stunning new music special and documentary about Elvis’ inconic Vegas peformances that reinvented his carrer and the City of Las Vegas .
  The music special features interviews or performance with some of today’s hottest stars. Unique covers of Elvis classics include Toby Keith and Aerosmith's Joe Perry performing “Mystery Train,” The Little Willies featuring Lee Alexander, Jim Campilongo, Norah Jones, Richard Julian and Dan Rieser combine for “Love Me,” Faith Hill goes gospel with “Peace in the Valley,” Chris Daughtry sings “Suspicious Minds,” and Celine Dion delivers “Can't Help Falling In Love.” Plus, enjoy a never-before-seen performance of "Always On My Mind" by Willie Nelson, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora.

Elvis: Viva Las Vegas will be avaiable EXCLUSIVELY at Wal-Mart and walmart.com and goes on sale August 12^th. CMT will air the special on August 11^th.

  In addition to clips from the special and appearances by Jerry Schilling and George Klein during Night 1 of Music & Movies on August 11th, CMT, which will also air the special, will be at Graceland with CMT's Top Twenty Countdown as they originate one edition of the hour long taped show from Gracleand.

Elvis Christmas Duets Album to Debut in October

  On October 14, SONY BMG Music Entertainment, in partnership with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., will release the “Elvis Presley Christmas Duets” CD, which is the first Elvis Presley duet recordings album and the first Christmas compilation of its kind ever produced. This release marks yet another milestone in Elvis Presley’s legacy, 31 years after his death.

  The CD will feature many of today’s biggest country artists, including Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Gretchen Wilson, Sarah Evans and LeAnn Rimes singing classic Elvis holiday songs with Elvis Presley.
