Graceland Super Bowl Party Chef Nominated for Best New Chef of 2011

Congratulations to Ryan Trimm, the head chef and owner of
Sweet Grass in Memphis, who has been nominated for
Food & Wine Magazine's The People's Best New Chef of 2011!
Ryan recently volunteered his time and culinary skills to help
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital raise money for their Super Bowl event held at Graceland. If you attended the
Super Bowl watch party at Graceland, then you experienced Ryan’s award-nominated cuisine. Since
Sweet Grass opened in April 2010, Ryan has dedicated his time and fantastic food to multiple local charities and Memphis organizations including March of Dimes, Youth Villages, Dixon Art Gallery, the Memphis Zoo, and the Children’s Museum of Memphis.
Since 1998, the editors of
Food & Wine have feasted their way from coast to coast, seeking out 10 innovative chefs, each with a distinctive vision for creating delicious food. They've bestowed upon these shining stars the title of Best New Chef. This year, the dining public has a say.
You have until March 1 to
