American Idol Scotty McCreery Mentions Elvis During Interviews

At two recent press appearances, newly crowned "American Idol" Scotty McCreery dropped the King of Rock 'n' Roll's name! Scotty grew up listening to Elvis Presley and performed two Elvis songs on Idol this season, including "That's All Right" which earned him rave reviews from the judges.

During an interview on "Live! With Regis and Kelly," Scotty called Elvis his main musical influence and even sang a few bars of the king's hit "Blue Suede Shoes." Also, during an appearance at Walt Disney World, Scotty again mentioned Elvis' impact on him.
