September 20, 2011

Elvis’ music on the highly anticipated 5-CD super deluxe set, “Young Man With The Big Beat,” is not the only thing getting a lot of attention, a few recorded interviews with Elvis in 1956 are getting some attention of their own. Mentioned in a recent article on People.com, these rare interviews gave the public more insight about Elvis’ personal life and thoughts.

In a snippet that can be heard on People.com, Elvis speaks briefly about the moves he performs on stage by stating, “Some people tap their feet, some people snap their fingers, and some people just sway back and forth. I just sort of do them all together, I guess.” He also speaks about what he does for fun, cars, love, children and not wanting to be lonely.

“Young Man With The Big Beat” is now available for pre-order at elvis.com/1956. As a bonus, pre-order customers will receive an exclusive replica 7” vinyl of Elvis’ very first RCA EP. The deluxe set will be available everywhere on September 27.
