Excitement Grows for Cirque du Soleil’s Second Annual Cirque Week in Las Vegas

Known worldwide for its unique entertainment experiences featuring high flying acrobats, mystical characters and state-of-the-art technology, Cirque du Soleil has just announced its second annual Cirque Week, which is scheduled for December 1-10, 2011. During this 10 day series of exclusive events, fan are offered an experience of a lifetime as they get an all-access look into how Cirque's extraordinary shows come to life nightly.

Ticket packages are now available and people who purchase them receive access to great events such as the Viva ELVIS question and answer session on December 8th. During this session you can put on your blue suede shoes and join cast and crew members at the Elvis Theater to learn what it takes to pay tribute to The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll every night. With an on-stage demo of the Jailhouse Rock set, attendees will see what it takes to move a 3-story 90,000 lb. set piece and learn how the artists perform upside down.

Cirque fans can also enter to win a free trip to Cirque Week 2011, by visiting Cirque's Facebook page and entering into "Cirque's Biggest Fan" contest. Entering is simply, as contestants must upload their picture and a paragraph on why they are Cirque's biggest fan. The contest is only open to U.S. residents.
