1956 Check is This Week's Insiders Artifact
October 19, 2011
We are celebrating the 55th anniversary of the year 1956 in Elvis Presley's life. It was the year Elvis catapulted to superstardom, enjoying his first national hit, "Heartbreak Hotel," his first movie, "Love Me Tender," and his first television appearances. In honor of the anniversary, this week's Elvis Insiders
Artifact is a check made out to the Robert Clay Hotel that was located in Miami, Flordia.
Each week, a rare or never-before-seen photo or document from the Graceland archives is added to the Elvis Insiders artifacts gallery. This gallery is exclusive to Elvis Insiders
