Gift Receipt is This Week's Insiders Artifact

We are celebrating the 55th anniversary of the year 1956 in Elvis Presley's life. It was the year Elvis catapulted to superstardom, enjoying his first national hit, "Heartbreak Hotel," his first movie, "Love Me Tender," and his first television appearances. This week's Elvis Insiders Artifact is a gift receipt dated two years after his record breaking year. This receipt is for a gift for girlfriend at the time, Anita Wood. This gift turned out to be extra special as Elvis was stationed in Germany at the time.
