Insiders Artifact: Toronto Article on Elvis' Performance Outside U.S.

February 23, 2012

During his 1957 tour, Elvis performed outside the U.S. for the first time when he appeared in Canada. Two shows were held in Toronto on April 2 and two shows were in Ottawa on April 3. Elvis appeared outside the U.S. only in 1957. This week's Insiders artifact features an article from Toronto, Canada, covering Elvis' first performance there. This show marks one of the only times Elvis wore the entire Gold Lame Suit on stage. To see this week's Insiders Artifact, log-in to your Elvis Insiders account and go to the MEDIA section.
