"Vote Travel" Bus Tour Visits Graceland
March 28, 2012
Graceland recently received a visit from the U.S. Travel Association's "Vote Travel" Bus Tour
and they are featured as this week's photo spotlight.
The official bus tour does not kick off until mid-April but the group traveled to Memphis to enjoy a day at the home of the King of Rock 'n' Roll.
The "Vote Travel" Bus Tour works to create more U.S. jobs, improve the travel process, make America more competitive globally and keep the business and meetings industry thriving. The group is going coast to coast and is making some stops to rally local communities in support for travel. The bus tour has been traveling the country visiting iconic vacation spots in the U.S. and decided to stop by Graceland to walk in the steps of a rock 'n' roll legend.
The bus tour will visit 37 cities including New Orleans, Chicago and Las Vegas, boosting the role of the travel industry in the 2012 elections. The bus is complete with black leather seats, flat screen televisions, a mini-kitchen, sleeping quarters and Elvis for President 2012 buttons and bumper stickers.
