Elvis' Debut Album Named in's "50 Coolest Album Covers"

Elvis Presley's self-titled debut album has been named in 's "50 Coolest Album Covers."

Shortlist calls the cover, "The album that changed everything, and a photograph that captured Elvis on the cusp of greatness."

The 20-year old Elvis was captured at the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory in Tampa, Forida on July, 31, 1955. The album spent ten weeks at #1 on the Billboard charts in 1956 and became the first "image of a rock 'n' roll star."
