"I have been an Elvis Fan since I was 12 years old and I knew back then that some day I would meet Elvis. I guess you can say I was always in the right place at the right time. My first trip to Graceland was when I was 18 years old in January 1971. When I got to the gates of Graceland there was a lot of activity going on. Uncle Vester came to the gates and told us Elvis was receiving an Award from the Jaycees that night. It was like a dream come true, we got tickets and that was my first glimpse of Elvis in person!"
