Lineup Announced for Free Daylong Music Festival Kicking Off Elvis Week 2012

Kick off Elvis Week with live music at the Elvis Week Main Stage Pavilion. On Friday, August 10, Graceland will host the Memphis Means Music Fest: Inspired by the King.

This daylong event showcases contemporary Memphis talent as a celebration of Elvis’s life and music. This event is free to the public and donations are welcomed to help support the Memphis Music Foundation.

11:00 a.m. - Star & Micey
12:00 p.m. - The Memphis Dawls
1:00 p.m. - Chinese Connection Dub Embassy (CCDE)
2:00 p.m. - John Paul Keith and the 145s
3:00 p.m. - Aron Shiers
3:25 p.m. - Keith Sykes


Celebrate into the evening at Elvis Night with the Memphis Redbirds. Elvis fans dressed in their "I Am An Elvis Fan" tees will pack AutoZone Park for an Elvis-themed Memphis Redbirds baseball game against the Tacoma Rainiers. The first 5,000 fans to enter the park will receive a commemorative, limited-edition Elvis bobble head.
