Elvis Week Celebration in Full Swing - Day Four Photos and Video Now Available

Fans spent yesterday listening to stories from Elvis' closest friends and the Queen of Rock, plus live music, dance parties and tributes for Elvis Week 2012. Go behind-the-scenes with Memphis Jones and see all of the excitement with new video, photos, and our fan blog posted at www.ElvisWeek.com.

The day began with some of Elvis' closest friends sharing their memories of working and spending time with the king at the Insiders Conference. The Queen of Rockabilly, Wanda Jackson, joined the Elvis Week Main Stage and talked about Elvis' influence on her music. Elvis fans also heard about one of the biggest moments in U.S. history from the two men who witnessed Elvis meeting President Richard Nixon. Later that afternoon, The Memphis Boys, the legendary house band at the American Sound Studio in Memphis, Tennessee from 1967 until it’s closing in 1972, were honored during a Beale Street note dedication. Elvis fans then partied into the evening and joined the conga line at the Elvis Week Dance party for a night filled with Elvis music and excitement.
