Brooks Museum Announces "If I Can Dream" Fan Favorite Artwork

August 24, 2012

Congratulations to M. Christine Best for being chosen as the fan favorite at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art's "If I Can Dream" art display during Elvis Week.

The winner's photograph on canvas, "If I Can Dream," was selected by thousands of Elvis fans who joined us for the 35th celebration. Fans can still see this piece of art, along with the winners of the "If I Can Dream” International Art Competition, at the Brooks Museum until September 16.

The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. joined forces for the  "If I Can Dream” International Art Competition." Artists of all ages submitted artwork inspired by the song "If I Can Dream," which Elvis sang during a heart-felt performance at the close of his legendary 1968 NBC television special.

The winning works of art, along with all of our entries, were on display at the Brooks Museum during Elvis Week and visitors to the exhibit had the opportunity to vote for their favorite piece.
