Elvis Tops UK Charts as Biggest Selling Male Artist of All Time

Elvis is once again topping the charts and this time he's breaking records in the United Kingdom. Elvis was recently named the "Biggest Selling Male Artist of All Time" after the Official Chart Company ranked the king at the top.

According to OfficialCharts.com, they are gearing up to celebrate their 60th anniversary by releasing the ten biggest selling artists. Topping the chart was Elvis with 21.7 million records sold, beating out huge UK stars such as Paul McCartney, Elton John and Cliff Richard. Elvis' top selling album was "It's Now or Never" with 12.7 million records sold.

"Elvis’ legacy lives on strongly in the UK. Over the last decade, the King of Rock 'n' Roll has sold over 5.7 million albums and 2.2 million singles (this includes 1.3 million track downloads.) In the last 18 months alone he has sold an incredible 317,000 albums and 333,000 track downloads."
