"The Rebel and the King" Expanded E-Book Edition Available on Amazon Kindle

Elvis fans looking to learn more about the king's remarkable 1956 Tupelo Homecoming and his friendship with actor Nick Adams can now purchase "The Rebel & The King" e-book through Amazon Kindle.

The new, expanded e-book edition includes 30 classic photos, an essay by best-selling author Elaine Dundy, introduction by historian Roy Turner and the foreword and epilogue by Nick’s daughter, Allyson Adams. “Elvis and the Mississippi/Alabama Fair” essay by Elaine Dundy was written in 2005 just before her death and is appearing for the first time in "The Rebel and the King." Elaine Dundy is the author of the 1985 book, "Elvis and Gladys." Roy Turner worked as her historian while researching in Tupelo, MS, during the early '80s.

This inspirational, first person account of Elvis Presley is the last glimpse of innocence before the end of an era. Nick Adams writes about his close friendship and whirlwind eight days in Memphis with Elvis, during the famous singer’s 1956 Tupelo Homecoming concert. In 2012, Adam's daughter Allyson discovered the manuscript and decided to publish this lost tale of friendship. Allyson was a guest speaker during the Insiders Conference at Elvis Week 2012. During her visit, she shared details of the book with Insiders Conference host Tom Brown.
