Watch New Video of Lisa Marie Presley Performing "Weary" at Sun Studio

March 04, 2013

Lisa Marie Presley visited Sun Studio for the first time this past May during her "Storm and Grace" album release party. Check out this new video (above) of Lisa Marie performing "Weary" for the PBS Special "The Sun Studio Sessions."

Following in the footsteps of musical icons such as her father, Lisa Marie performed in the same spot where rock 'n' roll was born. On July 18, 1953, Elvis Presley first went to the Memphis Recording Service at the Sun Record Company, now commonly known as Sun Studio. He paid $3.98 to record the first of two double-sided demo acetates, "My Happiness" and "That's When Your Heartaches Begin." Elvis recorded 25 songs at Sun Studio between 1953 - 1955. Ten were released by Sun as Elvis' first five singles.
