The Blackwood Quartet, Shawn Klush and Joe Moscheo to Perform at Tupelo Elvis Festival

As the 15th anniversary of the Tupelo Elvis Festival approaches, the excitement for each event is building. The 2013 lineup will not only be entertaining, but will also pay tremendous tribute to the gospel background of Elvis Presley. The Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association encourages fans to wrap up the festival weekend with the Gospel Brunch on Sunday, June 9.

The morning will begin with a catered brunch outside the Lyric Theatre on Court Street. While eating, patrons will be entertained by the Tupelo Unity Choir. Following brunch, The Landmarks will perform inside the Lyric and open for Elvis Presley Enterprises First Ever Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, Shawn Klush. Shawn will perform along with Elvis’ favorite gospel family, The Blackwood Quartet with special guest, Joe Moscheo of Elvis’ Imperials Quartet. The EAS Band will accompany the musicians during the concert.

General Admission tickets for the Brunch and Gospel Concert will be available for purchase tomorrow, March 8, at 10:00 a.m. CST for $25.00. Customers can purchase tickets at or through the office at 108 South Broadway Street in Downtown Tupelo.
