What are RSS Feeds?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is a way for new and updated content to be delivered to someone via subscriptions. Our feeds are provided free of charge, and once you subscribe to a feed, you automatically receive updates as new content is added. Unlike e-mail where unwanted spam is delivered, the subscriber has complete control over what content is received and when that content is delivered. Story headlines, descriptions, and links to stories are published via individual feeds that you subscribe to.
How do I subscribe to and access an RSS feed?
To properly receive and view the content, you must have an application/reader or use an online service which provides access to RSS feeds. Many customizable home pages like ones from Google and Yahoo allow for RSS subscriptions.
You can subscribe to our RSS feeds using:
- A separate RSS reader application. A list of RSS readers can be found on Google or Yahoo.
- An RSS-aware web browser, such as Firefox, or Safari for Macintosh OS X.
- A web-based RSS aggregator, such as My Yahoo or My MSN, using the one-click subscription feeds provided on this page.
- An RSS-aware browser or RSS aggregators can be used if you do not have installation privileges on your computer to install a reader application.
