New York, NY -- October 16, 2002 – BMG and RCA Records announced today that ELV1S 30 #1 HITS has sold nearly 6 million units worldwide, having reached the top spot in an astounding 24 countries and the top five in five others.

In addition, ELV1S 30 #1 HITS held its No. 1 position in the U.S. for the third consecutive week and in Europe for the second consecutive week. The album was released worldwide on September 24th.
