We are excited to announce some new changes coming to the Elvis Insiders online experience. The purpose of the Elvis Insiders is to provide Elvis fans around the world with information and exclusive content (like photos, videos, news), and also to create a fun place for members to meet other fans and participate in a community. The new site will allow us to meet those objectives even better.

On Wednesday, September 12 at 7:00 am CST, the existing Elvis Insiders Web site will close forever. No later than Friday, September 14 at 10:00 am CST, the all new Elvis Insiders site will open.

NEWS
As always, you will be the first to hear about any Elvis-related news. The “News” section will be updated even more often with the most up-to-date information from the Elvis world.

MEDIA
The new “Media” section will be the place to check out exclusive video and audio clips from Elvis and his friends and family, concert footage, special events, or even special guests or interviews at Graceland. Here, you will also find the latest additions to the image gallery with new photos and artifacts from the Graceland archives.

As a special feature of the launch, members will be able to watch the exciting footage used for the opening segment of the 30th Anniversary Elvis Concert. This is the only place this footage can be seen!

NEW INSIDERS FORUM
As always, you will be able to meet other Elvis fans and share your Elvis stories and pictures on the “Insiders Forum.” If you have been using the Insiders Forum before this transition, you will be happy to know that all of your posts and post-counts have been saved and you’ll have many new features to use to celebrate Elvis. New features include:
- The ability to upload an avatar YOU create
- Add your own photo to your profile
- Create your own buddy lists
- Manage posts and threads with folders
- A new and improved private messaging center
- Better search tool
- AOL instant messaging capabilities

ALL NEW CHAT
The chat room was previewed on ElvisWeek.com and is now available for Elvis Insiders only. In addition to getting to chat with fellow members, the new chat room will be featuring special guests. Our first guest will be announced very soon.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
When you’re not chatting or on the Insiders Forum, you can still learn about other Elvis fans in our “Member Spotlight” section. Each week you will find out more about your fellow members as they share great stories about their experiences as Elvis fans.

GRACELAND WINDOWCAM
You will still have exclusive access to the Graceland Windowcam where you can see the view of Graceland from Elvis’s bedroom window. Additional WebCam locations are being explored and will be added soon.

New Elvis Insiders Online Experience FAQ

1. I am currently an Elvis Insider who has visited the Insiders Forum to read and/or post.
How will I log in?
When you first login to the new ElvisInsiders.com site, enter your Insiders Forum Username into the ‘username’ field on the login page. Then, enter your existing password into the ‘Password’ field on the login page. This will enable you to keep your post counts and level status.

2. I am currently an Elvis Insider but I have never been to the Insiders Web site or Forum.
How will I log in?
When you first login, enter your Member Number in the ‘username’ field on the login page. Then, enter the password you were e-mailed when you joined into the ‘Password’ field on the login page. You will then be able to register a new username and password so you can use the new site.

3. Can I change my username and password?
Yes. Once you log in to the site, go to the “Member Info” section and change your username and/or password on that page. For security purposes, you can only change your username once every 30 days. PLEASE NOTE: If you change your username on the member info page, it will ALSO change your username on the Insiders Forum.

4. Will I need my member number for anything since I no longer have to use it to login to the site?
Yes. In order to receive your Elvis Insiders 10% discount, you will need to enter your member number in the promotional code box on the shopelvis.com website when checking out or when calling Graceland or Heartbreak Hotel to purchase tickets or accommodations.

5. When I login to the new Elvis Insiders Forum, will I lose my total number of posts from the old forum?
No. Your post-count will transfer to the new Insiders Forum.

6. Where can Elvis Insiders use their card for 10% discounts?
10% discounts can be used at:
- Graceland (Discount on tickets can be used only if tickets have not been pre-purchased)
- Heartbreak Hotel (To receive the 10% discount at Heartbreak Hotel, the card must be presented at check-in)
- Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. gift shops
- Sun Studio (tour tickets)
- The Elvis Catalog

9. How much is it to renew my membership?
The cost to renew is $19.99, plus shipping and handling
The cost to renew a PLUS membership is $39.99 plus shipping and handling.

10. I currently have a basic membership. When I renew, can I upgrade to a PLUS membership?
Yes. When we first launched the Plus program, that was not an option. But now, when the time comes to renew, you can upgrade to a PLUS membership by selecting that option on the membership order page on ShopElvis.com.

11. How much is shipping and handling for new kits and renewal kits?
- $2.00 US
- $3.00 Canada and Mexico
- $5.00 all other International destinations

12. If I do not renew my membership when it expires, will I lose my username on the forum?
Yes. You will lose your current user name and will have to sign up for a new membership and begin again. You will also lose your member number and will be given a new one. If you were a founding member, we will be unable to reissue that number so please renew on time.
