USA Today Highlights Elvis Recording "That's All Right"
Today marks the 59th anniversary of when Elvis recorded "That's All Right" and USA Today recently posted a video highlighting this day in rock history. On July 5, 1954, while attempting to record ballads with band members Scotty Moore and Bill Black, Elvis started singing Arthur Crudup's "That All Right." This would become the origins of rock 'n' roll as we know it today.
