“I have been an Elvis fan since first grade and I am now 23. I was even born on January 8! I remember hearing “Hound Dog” on the radio and I was hooked. Even at an early age, Elvis had a huge impact on me. For this piece, I tried to give an excitement and energy through the colors I used. The picture of Elvis is from his first album cover.”
