“I’m a huge Elvis fan in so many ways. He has influenced and changed my life. 1956 was such a big year for Elvis, and what he did for music was a shift in entertainment as we knew it. He raised the bar and started a revolution. I wanted to use iconic imagery that captured the king in the beginning.  The idea is that during a time of black and white, Elvis brought color to life with his music.”
