“I painted this as a gift for my son's 21st birthday. Elvis is his idol and his favorite Elvis year was 1956. I chose this picture because it is my son's favorite image of Elvis from 1956. My son and I have such a close relationship and I believe a lot of it has to do with our mutual love and respect for the King of Rock 'n' Roll.”
