Below are details regarding Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contests that will be taking place around the world leading up to the semifinal round in Memphis during Elvis Week 2009. You can attend the preliminary rounds of the contest to cheer on your favorite Elvis tribute artists. Many of the contests also have fun festivals and events surrounding the competition.

Toronto Elvis Festival at Stage West Dinner Theatre

The Toronto Elvis Festival will feature a weekend of events, including their grand finals of their preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest on April 5. The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest at Hollywood Casino

Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge will hold a preliminary contest licensed as an official contest of the 2009 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. The preliminary contest will be judged by local celebrity judges and there will be approximately 16 – 20 contestants. Elvis contestants will perform at Live After Five downtown with Brandon Bennett’s Band and there will be a special performance by 2008 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Winner Brandon Bennett. Atlantic City Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest

Legends in Concert and Resorts Atlantic City will host a preliminary round of the 2009 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. The 2nd annual event will be limited to 20 contestants. All Elvis contestants will perform Friday night, June 5, with the top 10 advancing to perform Saturday night, June 6. Tickets are on sale now at www.ResortsAC.com. The winner of the MontBleu Resort Casino contest will receive $1,000 and entry to compete in the qualifying rounds that will take place during Elvis Week 2009 in August.
